The BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) is a state-level civil examination conducted for the posts of Rural development officer, Sub-Divisional officer, District Sanapark, and several other PCS level officers. Apart from the top General studies paper and the qualifying Hindi paper, the candidates have to select from one of the 34 optional subjects for the mains. The subjects are

The General Studies Paper 1 & 2 and the optional paper are 300 marks each. The Hindi paper is 100 marks. The candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying marks in Hindi to be eligible for the interview round.
